Mark Tolliver


Mark Tolliver brings extensive experience in the high-tech industry to his position as CEO of Palamida, a San Francisco-based software company focused on software intellectual property management and compliance. Founded in 2003, Palamida investors include Hummer Winblad, WaldenVC, and Adobe Inc.

Prior to Palamida, Tolliver was Executive Vice President at Sun Microsystems. Tolliver was with Sun for ten years, and served as VP Marketing, President and general manager of iPlanet, and Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to Sun, Tolliver spent 15 years with Hewlett Packard in marketing and general management assignments.

Tolliver is chairman of Intalio, a software company focused on cloud computing infrastructure software. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.S.E.E. from the University of Illinois.
